I am looking at buying a Linksys Dual-band Wireless A/G Media Center Extender (WMCE54AG) to play all my mp3's and wma files on my home entertainment system. I am also buying it to record Digitally to my network PC. The network PC that I want to use to play files from and record to is only running windows xp home edition. What software will I need to install for me to be able to use all of the features offered by the Linksys Wireless A/G Media Center Extender? OR........ Is that impossible to do?

Not really sure but I know that microsoft can really piss some people off with there compatibility stuff (like you have to buy stuff so other things work) and I am pretty sure you will need the media center os.
