I'm running a relatively new build of W2K Pro w/3 users on the machine. I was installing an app (that I have since removed), but now with every user that logs in, as their sessions starts, a window of the folder C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 pops up.

All I need to do is close it, but can anyone tell me how/where the setting is to not open this with each user login?

Thanx, -Kevin

welcome.gif Welcome to Bleeping Computer, e-kevin.

Please see the following MS Support article - System32 Folder Opens When Logging on to Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows NT 4.0

Hope that helps,

JC,

Thanx, that did it!! I had a corrupt entry in the registry. I took it out and voila, no more window.
