I feel like such an idiot because I have been taking steps to repair my computer and Windows Media Player was working earlier, now I get a message that says:

Cannot open--unable to locate component msfvw32.dll--reinstalling the application my fix this problem

I normally have version 9. I went to the windows website and downloaded version 10 and saved it to my computer. Still--it will not open. It tells me the same thing. I'm afraid--I don't want to lose my music.

Nothing I do is working. I'd appreciate any help at all.
