I hate MACS but I am forced to work with one, anyone know of an anvtivirus program that has a mac version.... free one perhaps

Macs are not really affected by virus outbreaks like windows machines are.
You are unlikely to ever get a mac virus even if you dont use AV software.

US-Cert's 2005 lists of new vulnerabilities lists (this is a rough count) 25-30 for Macs, and this would presumably not include other applications on your computer. Now matter how "safe" any operating system, it is open to attack.
