Can someone tell me how to change an mp3 to a wav file? I just read on another board a way to create a personal ring tone for my cell phone by doing that, but I don't know where to start.

Dbpoweramp is pretty good also, free program. another member showed this to me and it seemed pretty east to work with

Let me know if you get this to work, as I'd be curious to try it myself

Guess I'm just not savvy enough to know what I'm doing.

That, or the fact that I'm trying to work from I-Tunes says it all. I can't access the audio I'm looking for.

I did download Audacity, but can't get to the item I want.

I'm not asking for much, Mr. Jobs. Just about 15 seconds of a song I really like! Please? (Grr... almost as greedy as Mr. Gates!)

Post a link to the sound or email it to me & I'll try to convert it for you.

What your really trying to do is break the "I-Tunes" encryption. Not sure if the site allows that or not. Oh well, time will tell.
