Howdy,
I down loaded SpywareGuard (2.2 version) today. I updated as soon as it finished down loading. I noticed that the last definition updates for this program were dated 1-22-04. Is this correct ?

Has there been no new definitions for this program in almost 2 years ?

Thank You for your time.

Dennis H,

Hopefully this will answer your question.
QUOTE
SpywareGuard functions primarily based on heuristics, so it detects malware by seeing if ANYTHING breaks a preset bunch of rules. It does not use a definitions database specific to certain malware, so it doesn't need constant updating.
