I'm running ME and installed "Disk Cleanup" which is available at www.gregorybraun.com. Now, when I go to Control Panel ... Add/Remove Programs ... the only program listed is Disk Cleanup. Until now, I've had an extensive list of programs displayed. I've checked through my directories and folders and the programs are where they should be.

I searched Microsoft support and came upon an article (ID 247501) "How to Manually Remove Programs from the Add/Remove Programs List" which drew my attention which had 2 statements directed at the program list not being correct in Add/Remove Programs. I gave it a try and there's no improvement.

I downloaded "Tweak UI" in the hope it would offer a solution.

My computer is functioning, however this is one of those quirky things that drives me to spend countless hours looking for an explanation and resolution. This is my first posting on this site and instead of spending hours on my own to resolve this, I'm hoping someone has the expertise to assist me.

Hello aurora.sky and welcome to BC.

I would try doing a System Restore but that program may have removed your restore points along with wiping the disk. There seems to be little documentation on it. According to the download page you can email them for support.

Thanks for the quick response. Prior to posting to this forum I did contact support and am waiting for a response. Since I'm functional I'll wait a couple of days to hear from them and if I don't I'll try the system restore. I appreciate the link to the restore methodology.
