need help with a emachine 366i2. i added a new modem and upgraded from 98 to me. the computer worked great for a week. added a new floppy and the next boot up the computer went to a gray screen. the error msg says i need to run a scanreg. i'm unable to get the computer to boot into the safe mode or open with a boot disk. help!

Have you enterd BIOS and make your floppy boot first?

Thanks for the post. i tried resetting my bios. did not work. i had to reset my cmos. still would not see my floppy drive. had to use a bootable cd to boot to the a prompt. did a f disk and reformat. reloaded me and the 366i2 seems to be working ok. thanks again for the post gene
