Hi All,

I hope this is the correct forum for this query. I have recently bought an MP3 player but when I plug it into the USB port it isn't recognised by the PC. I have a disc which I assume has the drivers on it but as the PC wont recognise the device I have no idea how to get the drivers into the player so as I cant get the player to boot up. The player runs on USB2 which I have on my PC. The PC is running Windows XP Home SP2 so it should see the player as an external device. Any suggestions as to how I can get the software into it, get it to boot up and operate as it should ?

Hi Whiz,

Try loading the drivers first - running setup. Some usb devices require the software load and then the system sees it after the fact. Worth a shot...

Good luck Whiz,

Rigel
