Hey all. Not sure if I'm putting this in the right forum. Feel free to correct me.

My computer at work has AVG anti-virus protection. It scans everyday and has been coming up 'virus found.' It used to be two, now it's five, and I'm a little worried. It says it can't 'heal' these, whatever that means.

The specs on the viruses:

C://Documents and settings/user/local settings/temp/hogsbflj.exe Trojan horse PXW Generic.NSF

" WSNInst.exe Adware Generic.FCE

" WSN.exe Adware Generic.EAI

" WSNInst.exe Adware Generic.EAI

C://Documents and settings/user/local settings/temporary internet files/tank01[1].exe Trojan horse PXW Generic.NSF

I'm running windows XP professional. Just turned off system restore in the hopes that would take care of it. Number of viruses jumped from 2 to 5 after that.

Any help is appreciated.

It looks like the files are located in your temporary file folder.
Clean out your temp folder and see if that helps.
Start / Run / type in: %temp% / click OK
Delete the files in that folder.
