I had Norton loaded on my system but I still seemed to end up with spyware. So I did a bit of looking at CNET and chose Aluria Security Center. I had also had loaded Spybot S&D.

I was having connectivity issues with SBC and each time I had to turn off firewalls to work with SBC Tech Support.

Well of course I ended up with SpyAxe because I forgot to turn the firewalls back on (or at least I assume that was the reason).

Then I discover that I was having a conflict between Aluria and Norton..........so I needed to make a choice between the two and I chose Aluria.

Have I made an incorrect choice here? unsure.gif

Any guidance or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

No, I don't think so. But you do need a good AV. I have list several below with the one I like indicated. You will be well servered with a choice of anyone of these...

Antivirus (Run only one)
AVG Free Edition Antivirus (I personally use)
Avast Home Edition Antivirus Freeware
AntiVir Personal Edition Classic Freeware
BitDefender 8 Free Edition AntiVirus Freeware

Thanks so much for the help!!

I'm currently downloading AVG.

One more question.........would you recommend remove Aluria once I am using AVG?

Thanks,
