Recently upgraded a number of users who were using the XP ver. of Outlook, to Outlook 2003. Have a user today, who after being upgraded, is still getting size limitation errors. The old version was limited to a .pst file size of 2gb...where Outlook 2003 allows this file to be 20gb. Why would she still be getting the size error??? (Her .pst is currently at 1.9gb)

There was a similar question asked in the Microsoft Support forums here.

Here's the answer....

Is the PST file using the new format? Simply upgrading to OL2003 won't
increase the PST capacity. You've got to create a new PST using that format,
copy your existing data into it then replace your existing PST with the new
one.

That was it.
Thanks. This problem is now solved.
