I know this is a really dumb question...but...I've never been able to grasp the whole firewall 'zone' thing.

I was having trouble connecting to IE after I downloaded the latest Zonelabs firewall update. So I changed my Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer settings and now it's working fine. I have both programs checked under all four columns, Access (trusted and Internet) and Server (trusted and Internet). Is that safe? It probably is, but I can't remember if those are the same settings I had before. Just want to make sure.
