In office 03, word, outlook, etc - everything that is typed is in capital letters, whether or not CAPS lock is on or not. Tested in notepad and as another user (on the same PC) and it works just fine - types both capital and lowercase. Any thoughts to get this XP Pro user to be able to type with lowercase text in Office 03??

First check the font selected. There are some, Copperplate Gothic being one, that look like all caps.
In Word>Format>Font see if "All caps" is checked. If it is, unchecked, click OK. If Word is selected in Outlook as the email editor, the Word font will affect the Outlook font.
--My user did have the All Caps option checked, and then had clicked " on Default" to save the change permanently.
