A sincere thanks to one and all for the recognition of my getting older!
I wish I could have responded in a more timely manner ... I have been working at a Christmas Extravaganza on the mainland and it took me away from my keyboard with remarkable regularity over the past 5 days.
On my b'day I was offering free samples of an extensive line of Beef Jerky made in Oregon to exacting standards and honestly I found it rather fun to help an endless stream of holiday shoppers find the right
flavor to make their day and the same for the lucky ones who will find it in their stockings Christmas Eve.
Imagine me dressed in a ruffled shirt and vest, bow tie and tophat in the Victorian tradition, extolling the virtues
of products called "Klondike Katie", "Sassy Sal", "Mooie Louie", "Bad Bart", "Montezuma"s Rage", "Nitro" or "Chernobyl"
Still facing some laborious demands for projects like installation of insulation and kinda complicated wiring, I anticipate a while longer before I can once again focus on what I like to do ... helping share the information we all benefit from regarding the use of our computers. I'm happy that Bleeping Computers continues to be effective at that, even if my help has been minimal while changing lifestyles.
If indeed I must continue to try to arrange eight day weeks to satisfy self-inflicted deadlines and such, please be aware that I stop in and scan activity here as often as possible and truly want to wish everyone Happy Holidays, warm relations, successful resolution to the computer questions/problems and all the best as we learn to be better at the things our technology now affords us.
