hi all
i check my DNS today i have 2 A record for 2 diffrent PC bothe have same ip address i ping both both is repling i have 12 PC every 2 has the same IP under win 2000 server enviroment

Having 2 computers with the same IP address will cause an IP conflict.
This will cause one, or both of the computers, to have communication problems within a LAN.
I am still a little confused on what your specific problem is. Please explain further.

Did you set the computers to use a static iP?

Are these 12 PC on two workgroup? That would explan why that they have the same IP adreses.
