My wife mistakenly pushed the " Red " button after a lot of hard work and closed a Word Perfect Office 12 doc.
She lost quite a bit of newer info. Thing is, that she spent better than 15 minutes doing a spell check
and still lost the newer data. Is there a way to find it or has it returned to the ether?
I can't find a back-up file anywhere.

Thanks, Greg

I think you are out of luck.

Please see this document - Is there a way to retrieve a document after it has been closed but not saved?

I also found this that may give you some hope...

Open Windows Explorer and Browse to your backup folder
NOTE: If you are not sure where your backup folder is, Open WordPerfect, go to the Tools menu and select Settings. Click on Files and look for the Backup folder. Make note of the folder listed there and than Close WordPerfect.

Once you find the backup folder, I am assuming you can look for backup files, if they exist.

I am not a Corel user, but those are the items I found that may help you.

Good-luck,
