This maybe a silly question but if the last new member ( when I noticed this a few minutes ago )was number 41416 then how come the number of registered members is 37873. Who's hiding the other 3543? Maybe I should have posted this in the Math Game
It's a very complex formula used to calculate the total number of BC members. 
But if one never validates membership by clicking on the link in the validation e-mail sent out,
that number is still assigned to the member, though unused.
(While a few other members may have been "removed".)

No, no. KoanYorel got it wrong, we don't "remove," them. We neutralize them. ;)

Yea I specifically said "neutralize" which means "to eliminate." Not "remove reproduction system of an animal."

I suppose you could "neuter" yano by removing his batteries. Is that unpleasant?
