Hi all...

Thank you for all your prayers. They have been felt by my wife and family. Thank you.

Donna is recovering at our local hospital. The MRI did show that she had two strokes in a short period of time. She also had an older "silent" stroke that occurred over the last year or so. Blood works hasn't been conclusive of anything yet. She did do a doppler cardiogram this morning where they placed a probe down her esophagus and looked at her heart to check for holes, leaky valves, or plaque build up. It is like an ultrasound done internally. There were no problems with her heart! I am very grateful! They are looking now at her birth control pills as a suspect in her stroke.

The issue now becomes why? What happened to cause the stroke? I am still numb that something happened. My wife, who is 40, is too young to have such problems - or so I see it.

To those who read this, take time to tell the people who are close to you that you love them. I left for work yesterday to a smiling mate with no signs that 10 minutes later she would not be able to talk well or swallow correctly. The world is different today.
