Bleeping Computer New User Orientation Area
Hello and welcome to BleepingComputer.com. My name is Grinler and I am one of the admins here at BC. I will be your guide for this visit to the New User Orientation Area. Please sit back and enjoy the ride while I give a brief tour of the site.
Before we begin, I think it is important for you to understand a little bit about Bleeping Computer and why it was created. As the computer geek among my friends and family I am always the one called upon to help them with their computer problems and questions. Over time, I started to wonder why these people do not make an effort to learn this information on their own. While doing research, I found that there was just not enough easy to understand information available to a beginning computer user. With that in mind I created Bleeping Computer as a place to interact with your peers and get free easy to understand support.
Now that the boring part is over lets take a quick tour. Bleeping Computer is composed of different sections, each with their own purpose. I will, on this tour, provide brief descriptions of the various sections and what they are for.
Forums
The first stop on our tour are the forums. The forums are one of the frequently visisted locations at BC. It is here that you can ask for support from other members and provide help if you have the knowledge.
