The republican party violently attacks any person or group that has a different opinion then they do, and the elite only care about them self not the normal person.

QUOTE
Actually there is more proof that liberal Democrats are the ones who do this. You can find numerous examples of attacks on conservative speakers throughout academia...

Our "educational" system has degenerated into little more than a system of indoctrinating young people into the Leftist, Socialist way of thinking that is the foundation of the Democratic party.

Both Parties conduct themselves in a manner that we all should find objectionable, something you each have noticed, albeit from apparently differring points of view.

Each Party seems to make decisions that are best for the respective party, rather than what would be best for the country (even though they claim what they are doing is for the good of all).

Makes it difficult to really get behind either Party's candidate, doesn't it?

The reason that both parties have what seem to be the same ends is that this country has devolved from the Constitutional Republic that it was meant to be into a plutocracy.

Plutocracy

Main Entry:
plu·toc·ra·cy
Pronunciation:
\plü-ˈtä-krə-sē\
Function:
noun

1 : government by the wealthy 2 : a controlling class of the wealthy

Government of the rich, by the rich, and for the rich. And Republicans don't have a monopoly on being rich, by any stretch of the imagination.
flyingpants
MattV, I agree with you, but are you actually coming out in favor of government by the rich?

I know this is thread a bit old and the following is probably better in the video area, but it fits the topic , made me chuckle and it made it into the german newsweek review / special about the presidential race (although seemingly cut together slightly different): Babies for Obama!
KingOfIdiocy
I may have got this wrong, but I thought I heard Hilary challenge Obama to a game of bowling to decide the nomination.

McCain will probably win Preisidency anyway.

From this side of the ocean, anyone is probably better than George (insert own subsitiution for W here) Bush.

McCain will probably get in, although I think personally Obama or Hillaryh would be a better alternative from a wider perspective.
