Well for those interested we have survived rita for the most part the network is in a shambles and have lost 2 units to water damage.

we were really blessed tho our damages are minor some of our neighbors were not so lucky.
I have been thru several hurricanes but notheing like what we saw here, the sucker was just so damn big. The entire Gulf coast from Mississippi to just above Galveston looks like pictures from WWII of bombed out cities just unbelieveable.

The power companies from all over are working like mad men trying to restore power but there is just sooooo much for them to do, the tree trimming crews come in street by street clearing the way of trees and debris and the power crews follow along behind. We only got power 2 days ago.

Like you, I got little damage, but the neighbors weren't so lucky

I live in SW LA.
We got hit pretty good over here.
My power was restored Oct. 6.
