Not sure if this belongs under games or hardware, but I'm going hardware with the memory error.
Running winxp pro, sp2, intel 865dx perl mobo, 2 gig 4x 512 ram, ati 9600 w 128ram, Intel p4 w 900 fr side bus..

Hello, would appreciate some input on a Memory error I receive. It only oocurs as my son plays 'world of warcraft' and only at a certain field in the game. This error doesn't occur in the game Doom 3,more video intensive. He plays alot and has been playing this game for along time. We have uninstalled and reinstalled the game to no avail. I've tried imonnt search at Intel it gets nothing.
Anyway the ERROR reads; imonnt .exe Application Error
The instruction at "0x00014726" referrenced memory at "0x00014726". The memory could not" be read".
Click OK ...............
Well I went in and cleaned, jic, then I tried removing some memory to see if I had a failure. 1 gig out and it worked... for a while. now it's back.
Any help is valued in advance.

Ok thanks much, will try that . Wasn't sure if that was safe as all I could find is that it was part of heat monitoring

Yes it worked, but do you think I should reinstall the Mobo software and then try to update it so the monitiring can be enabled again.
