Ya so when i was playing counter strike 1.6 i got kicked and when i looked at the description i was shocked to see HIGH PING. so i ran a couple tests on the internet (www.testmy.net) and it was true! so i tried, disconnectiong my modem waiting 30 secs and redoing everything. But still high ping/ slow internet! So i decided ill try too connect through Ethernet, but that only made it worse so i switched back to USB and suggestions? im about to go call verizon and complain!

Do you have any programs running in the background? ie: p2p applications (which is a no-no), or anything else that could be taking up bandwidth?
