Alright, got some homework to do for chem, and i have no idea how to figure it out......:
a. If you had already removed Ag1+, Hg22+, and Pb2+ by adding HCl, which of the following ions could you separate (as a group) with H2SO4? (choose all that apply)
Cu2+
K1+
Al3+
Fe3+
Ba2+
NH41+
Sr2+
Ca2+
b. If you had already removed Ag1+, Hg22+, and Pb2+ by adding HCl, which of the following ions could you separate (as a group) with H2CO3? (choose all that apply)
Mg2+
K1+
Fe3+
Sr2+
Na1+
Al3+
NH41+
Ca2+
c. If you had already removed Ag1+, Hg22+, and Pb2+ by adding HCl, which of the following ions could you separate (as a group) with LiOH? (choose all that apply)
Na1+
Mg2+
K1+
NH41+
Fe3+
Al3+
Ca2+
Sr2+
If you can figure it out, please tell me :-D

Don't look at me, I got all my science from Aristotle.
Sorry I can't help you.

Then that explains your answer to "Why is 2+2=4"
Sorry
Heretic Monkey.
Never had chem.

I assume you are looking for a precipitate.
Is CuSO4 soluble in water?
K2SO4 ?
Al2(SO4)3 ?
Fe2(SO4)3 ?
ect?

Thanx a lot man, i should be able to figure it out from there.....
Odd how they expect you to figure crap out, and give you 3 different chemistry books, yet none of them contain the information needed to solve the problem........ well, welcome to college i guess......

Yea I'm taking Chem next year (or physics). Cause the stupid school gave me government this year (which is usually a senior class), so I got to take a science while I'm a senior.

Yeah, i go to NCSU (North Carolina State University), and i am indeed a freshman. Chem 101 is required..... and i despise it...... but i'm doing ok, so as long as i get a b or a, i'll be happy.

Come on guys. Inorganic chemistry is FUN. Probably one of the most fun classes I had. After 35+ years, I still remember those days in the chem lab fondly.......

You are right ddeerrff, Chem isn't that bad. I do like the expirements.
