Hi anybody who thinks that they can help me is welcome to chime in. Here is my situation. Recently, my computer has been having some problems with playing audio cds and dvds. My computer will play the cds and dvds however the audio has a choppy, almost echoing sound to it and it seems to be slowed down. I am running windows XP have a SB Live 24-bit sound card, logitech-x530 5.1 surround sound speakers... um my computer is 2400 mhz 1024 mb ram sony vaio pcv rx-850. I have tried many things and have come to the conclusion that it is possibly a problem with conflicting audio codecs. However I really dont know where to go from there.. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!
