To those who are curious, the person who first told me about doing this, used to write answers for Jeopardy! I dont know if he currently does, but the next time that I speak with him, I will have him read this thread. Who knows, maybe some of this thread will appear on the show...if it is STILL running You do have my assurance that if he does used any of these, then the appropriate person will be recognized.

That is so cool to know someone who wrote answers for Jeopardy! I find myself occasionally watching Jeopardy just to see if I can answer some of them, lol. Most of the contestants on that show seemed to be the world's most boring yet smartest.
I heard Louie Anderson (I think it was him) say "do ya ever watch Jeopardy? Did ya ever notice that 'What is the Mississippi River' is the correct response at least once on every show?" That always stuck in my head, half laughing. I have yet to see a show where that rings true but it's funny anyway, lol.
Whether any of us gain fame with our creativity or not, it's been fun so far.

This is from the starting post of JE's Explaining how to play the game. I thought that I would post this, so those of you new to the game can better understand.

Using computer terms, define them using only 5 words. Then define them again in 5 words, but not related to computers. In your message, you can either do a different word, or one that has already been mentioned.

Ex:

RAM-Programs used immediately by computer
Ram-Dodge name brand of truck

Hard Drive-Storage medium for all computers
Hard drive-Driving vehicle without any suspension

Registry- data base of system information

Registry- records kept on couples marriages


Point - typeset word measurement in word pad

Point - a number in game scoring

RAM - memory with special installation instructions
RAM - installation instructions for RAM memory

Did I do it right?

Virus - code hidden in computer host program

Virus - extremely small disease producing agents
