I recently bulit a computer. Everything was working fine at start-up with an old wired keyboard in place temporarily. However, having purchased a brand new Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse for the brand new system, I decided to swap out the old keyboard for the wireless one. When i tried to boot up the computer there was no video output at all. When i unplugged the keyboard my problem was miraculously fixed. I tested the keyboard on another computer and it worked like a charm. Anyone know why this is happeneing and how I can fix it? (I know I could just get a new keyboard, but that still does not ensure that it won't happen again or explain why it is happening in the first place) Thanks!

Have you tried only using the USB side of the Wirless instead of the PS2?

Unfortunately, there is only a usb side for the mouse and not one for the keyboard. sad.gif

The kicker is this. If I plug in the mouse half of the wireless combo usb or ps2 - no issues. It's only when the PS2 keyboard connector is plugged in.
