Hey.
I have been having problem with my computer overheating for a really long time now...When I first got my comp it was fine...then about 2 months later my Radeon 9600 started giving me VPU errors when i played games...so I got that fixed by getting the card replaced...now I no longer get VPU errors but my motherboard overheats and my comp turns off on me. I have used the Asus motherboardmonitering thing...and my motherboard idles at around yellow-orange area... I cannot run a game for more then 30min with out my comp turning off. Well my solution was to point a house fan to it, it works fine but I would like to hear if you people have any suggestions or help that you can give me...because this is really starting to bother me, I do not believe that my comp should be running this way.
I have:
Processor Intel Pentium 4 2999MHz
Display Card ATI RADEON 9600 Series
Memory 1024MB
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP
Free Disk Space 45.58GB
Display Card Memory 256MB
Display Driver Version 6.14.10.6561
DirectX Version 9.0c
Optical Drive CD/DVD
Sound Card SoundMAX Digital Audio
If anything else is needed in solving this problem then I can provide it.
