i think i might of deleted my audio device,when i open the device manager,no devices are shown(which is kinda scary).any help?i saw to enable plug and play but it says that the system canot find the path specified.....im pretty sure i deleted something pretty important.also my add new hardware does not work,cant think of anything else

The first thing I think you should try is to re-install your audio drivers. If that doesn't work, I have another possible solution that will only work if you don't have an onboard (onboard the motherboard) sound card.

Assuming it is a PCI card, you could try shutting down the computer and moving the card to a different slot. The computer should recgonize it as new hardware and install drivers. I had to do this with my wireless card once and it worked (with Win XP)
