Tonight I updated Spybot S&D and then ran a check after enabling latest 27 immunised products. The results came back that TWO Problems were found as Registry Changes.
They were given as " Microsoft Fire Wall Over Ride"

HKEY_Local Machine_software Microsoft\security Cnt\Firewall0Verridel=dword0

Anyone have any idea what this is or what it means.???

I deleted both registry changes using SB and all seems OK...I did create a system restore point BEFORE Deletion though.

Maybe nothing, maybe something, but I am a little perplexed. crazy.gif

Thanks

I get this all the time. Most likely you have checked "I have a firewall solution, I'll monitor it myself," check in the control Panel. Follow these steps to fix it.
  • Click Start
  • Click Control Panel
  • Click Security Center
  • Click the Windows Firewall tab
  • Click Recomendations
  • Uncheck I have a firewall solution, I'll monitor it myself

Spybot's just telling you that your MS Security Center isn't set up the way MS likes it.
Windows likes to do things a certain way, and if it isn't done that way, Windows tends to whine about it.

Don't have Spybot "fix" them.
The next time they come up on a scan, do this for each one:
Single click it, to highlight it
Then right click it
In the menu that pops up, select Exclude this detection from further searches
That should keep them from showing up in future scans.

THANK YOU KINDLY PEOPLE.
