Hope this is in the right place.
i have (did have) norton antivirus 2005. It was set to start at start up but some reason it never would. Even if i right clicked the icon in the bottom right of the screen to enable, it wouldn't do it. I don't know why, but to enable it i had to rn live update everytime at start up and drove me crazy so i had ended up getting rid of it becase of it. I have now McAfee and it starts at start up.
Another thing with Norton 2005 was that it took ages to load at start up too i would wait like 3-4 minutes for it before i could do anything. With McAfee i only wait up to 1 minute. I never had the trouble with norton 2004 and my PC should be fast enough for it. P4 2.8, 1GB ram, 80GB hardrive, 129mb Graphics. SO i don't know what it was. If anyone knows what it could be (not that it matters now) but would be helpful. Would like to know if there is anyone outhere experiencing the same thing.
