Hi All,

The tutorials have been very helpful.
Most especially the ones on installing and using Adaware and Spybot. I've looked at some of the others and see them as useful, too. Keep up the good work.

It seems lately all I am doing is scanning for viruses, spyware, etc.

I really am lacking in basic, fundamental skills with the computer.

Would like to move beyond email, surfing and malware patrol.

A friend advised the purchase of the Video Professor. Is it good?

No!

"Video Professor" is a poor rip off of information that you can find out from simply
using the "google" to search for information or tutorials. Many are free.

Bring your other questions back to the BC. All here will help and direct you - for free!

Practically any area of interest is well-documented on the Web and without cost except perhaps for printing the texts themselves at home. For the more complex activities, your local library or certainly your local bookstore would be a better resource than the VP's over-priced disks.
Our members have varied interests, and more likely than not can steer you in the right direction once you have indicated what your new interests are.
