Im currently plauged by complicated and hard to figure out computer probems that i will explain later to anyone who wants a challenge.
My cousin said problems could be with running my graphics, (nvida geforce fx5200, agpx4) at 1024x768 @ 85hz (crt screen) he says to go to 800x600, which i HATE and i put it at 75hz.

Im pretty sure it can run at 1024x768 at 85, if not 75. I have very good eyes (makes up for being colourblind) so i can see 75hz flickering at 1024x768 and just about at 800x600.

Any ideas about this, or a good 3d enabled card that can run 1024x768 @ 85hz?

thanks in advance
jack

Your refresh rate is more a function of your monitor than your video card. What type of monitor do you have? Running too high a refresh rate will damage your monitor over the long haul.
