When I go into the control panel or IE I can't get internet options to stay open. The window appears for a nano second in the upper left corner of the screen and disappears. Any clues as to why? I just got this laptop. A lenova with windows business vista.

Windows Defender or your Symantec software may be blocking access to it as a security measure.
