Full Version: MSConfig registry key missing?

After getting rid of some nasty malware, I recently tried to run msconfig only to get the message "Windows cannot find 'msconfig'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search." Searching for msconfig... found that it was still there!

From reading some of the older posts I'm guessing that a registry entry was removed at some point. Not sure if I may be right or not, though. How would something like that be fixed?
