Hi, I have a Lenovo Y530 running Vista 64 and on battery power it goes into screen saver every 3 min. I have changed the screen saver settings. I have gone into the power settings and changed the time the display turns off. Checked all the power settings. Can not figure out why the screen goes black after 3 min. Touching the mouse it wakes up right away. Is there a problem with this computer or is there some setting I am missing? Jeff

Hi, yes I saved them. Tried it a few times and rebooted too.

Did your computer come with a bunch of crapware installed on it? I seem to remember that Lenovo is like ACER and installs a bunch of junk on it. It may be that they have put that on there as a third party (their own) control to "save the battery" whether you want to or not and as such, it is not a function of WIndows, but something you have to disable through them.
