anyone have any ideas on how to retrieve the history on a hard drive. in other words , go back in time to a particular date and view all activity from that date ? the computer still works , was just wanting to see if there is a way to view it . like emails or sites that were sent or visited. or direct me to the correct forum or something.
thanks

Hard drive doesnt store all the actions that were commited in the past. The only and the main thing in a hard drive is FAT - file allocation table. Google it and youll know what it stores. You can only get the deleted files from your hard drive if nothing was written "on top" of them.

If you want to view some deleted files a great free app to use is Recuva (http://recvua.com)
