Full Version: Cut & Paste into Web browser

I want to subscribe to an e-mail, so I was notified: "In order to activate your subscription, please go to...(a long URL).
If you are unable to click the link [it wasn't underlined, so there's no link] from this email, cut and paste the link text into your Web browser."
But when I highlight the text and go up to the Edit menu, both Cut and Paste are blacked out!
How exactly do I "cut and paste the link text into my Web browser"? (I read Bleeping's article on how to cut & paste, but it said nothing about doing it into a browser.)

Highlight the text and press Ctrl C to copy it. Click in the address bar of your browser and press Ctrl V to paste in into the address bar.
