Hi Anyone,

I'm using Nero Burning Program 5.5.10.56 and it's no where new as funtional as there 6.6 version that I used on a trial bases. So I'm having a problem with it when trying to burn Data on DVDs. I don't seem to be able to retrieve it, the Data from the DVDs. I do seem to be able to retrieve Data from CDs OK through Window's programing but I can't seem to find any way to retrieve Data from the DVD burns with Nero 5.5.10.56. I'd like to be able to burn on DVDs for large volume burns. So does anyone have an idea of what I may be doing wrong and how I might correct it?
I'm using DVD-R, 4.7 GB, 1-4x. Is that OK? I have heard something about special Data DVDs. I've also heard that what I use is OK too. So what am I missing in order to retrieve Data from these DVDs? Anyone.

What, if any, error messages does nero give you when trying to burn to DVD?
Or do they burn ok but you just can't read them afterwards?

i think you can just use windoes to burn data

Yes I do think you are right. It takes a will to find everything Windows has to offer. I just hope I remember and can find it next time. I'll have to burn it into my memory. Thank you.
