okay i thought my computer wasn't working cause my screen wasn't popping anything up not even the bios splash screen after turning the computer on and off a couple times i figured it was the monitor not turning on. So i bought a new monitor plugged it in and now all i get is the e machine screen f2 setup f10 to boot from you see the little bar going across when it finishes it goes to next screen but it just sits there???? So i try to boot from my vista dvd do repair my OS and it dont boot up i have tried changing the boot process to boot from dvd drive first and still nothing all i see is a courser on top left and it just sits there i have tried the f8 it didnt even bring up what i wanted to do boot to safe mode or start up windows normally i have no recovery disk just windows vista disk but that wont even boot any suggestions i can do to repair my OS or install a clean install?

When the eMachines logo shows up, can you press F2 to get into the BIOS?
Do you hear the hard drive spinning?
Are the fans spinning?
