My bleeepers,you have helped keep my old computer running well past its prime! It died of a hard drive attack and was buried in the garage! Now the new one is wonderful machine,but,I figured the DVD player would play,well,like a DVD player? The machine came with a cyberlinkplayer and the media player.I played a video after i uncrated it and it played fine! A week later the movies skip,why?!

I should have given more info when I first asked this question. This computer has a pentium 4 2.80ghz,80gb hardrive 90% free 512 mb of memory,shouldn`t this thing play dvd s or a screen saver without the video skipping? It was fine for about the first week then
