Hi, I've been using this Vista computer for a while now, and it has had some problems but recently none. Now however, it freezes every couple of minutes until i hit control alt delete and cancel it. When the computer does freeze, I can select desktop icons, move my mouse around and look at what is happening, but I can't interact with any of the windows itself. If i try to move one, or select it, nothing happens. If anyone knows how to solve this it would be great. This is very annoying. Thanks

*Edit*
I am using dual monitors, so if i have a game running in windows mode on one monitor when it has "frozen" i can still play the game fine.

Your lucky then. Once sometimes twice a day at random times, my computer goes from blazing fast to hitting a sticky gel mass. Whatever program or game im running appears to be completly frozen. Ctl + Alt + Del does nothing for me, the mouse still moves but its very jumpy and appears to be bogged down even when told to click.

The only remedy I have so far is to push to soft boot button.

Oh. That has happened to me a couple times too, and about 1/2 the times the program "X-Button Mouse Control" was the cause. Closing this fixed it a few times.
