I've created this http://img9.imageshack.us/my.php?image=blogl.jpg for a blog I'm making, and the HTML Code that imageshack gives me, makes the webpage all grey. I'm using blogspot. I know it is possible to use this, since I've seen a similar one on another blog. How would I make this image appear as shown on my blog?

Thanks in advance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using
CODE
http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/5609/blogl.jpg
for your URL for the background? They give you messy URLs, i typically do the tags/coding myself. If you're using the link you gave us, its not the pure link to the image, which would cause the problem.

Sorry, the direct link was http://img17.imageshack.us/my.php?image=blogf.jpg

The HTML it gave me to paste was

<a target='_blank' title='ImageShack - Image And Video Hosting' href='http://img17.imageshack.us/my.php?image=blogf.jpg'><img src='http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/2174/blogf.jpg' border='0'/></a><br/><a href="http://g.imageshack.us/img17/blogf.jpg/1/"><img src="http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/blogf.jpg/1/w1600.png" border="0"></a>

*** This is what it looks like when I post that HTML. http://img17.imageshack.us/my.php?image=notworking.jpg

Not very pretty.

Let me know if you can further assist me thanks

yeah, i mean that HTML is probably so much of a piece of junk.

Try to see if
CODE
<body background="http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/5609/blogl.jpg">
will do it. You'll have to put it on every page though(or you could stick it in CSS if you know how).

Its trying to pull reference links on you and not be very nice to you. see if what i gave you will work.

This time with that code it is just displaying a blue background. Thanks for trying though. Much appreciated

Got it working with mixing and matching codes similar to this design and just plugging in my url for my image. Thanks for the help mate

i find it easier to manipulate existing code if i can find it... i have a hard time just plugging things in and having them work.

You're welcome for what help i was able to give you.
