Precarious Dude
I just got this game for the PC released back in 2002. The game loads up just fine but during the load screen, when the game is loading up its resources, it crashes to the desktop with this error message:

Colditz.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close.

NOW, don't get me wrong! The game started before, after I changed the compatibility settings for Colditz.EXE to a former version of windows, but that one time only. It also works on a far weaker computer in my home. Ever since, the aforementioned problem has persisted on my stronger comp..

Have you tried updating your graphics drivers? http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Fi...x?ProductID=865 .

I know the game is old, but you don't have a dedicated graphics card. The integrated Intel graphics are usually very basic, and don't play games well at all. I'm curious as to what graphics card the other computer is using that is playing the game.

Its some 32 mb Nvidia graphics card (an old one)... The game works on it though.

Even though it is old, it is a discrete graphics card, and probably has more power than your Intel integrated graphics.
