I have the same problem that Cathy has regarding BackWeb Lite and Spybot. Does anyone have an answer on how to solve this problem?

Hello Roy Weston and welcome to BC

Could you give a little more info regarding what you have tried so far? Also what is your operating system? How is this problem manifesting itself?

You have to be careful with the removal of Backweb.
HP, Compaq, and some Logitech products use Backweb to update their systems, through the web.
It can be possibly used with very nasty intentions if bundled by unscrupulous vendors with their software, but is harmless when it comes with reputable ones.
Removing it could cause some .dll errors.
