I have Webroot, Spybot Search and Destroy, Trend Micro Anti-virus, and Online Armor. I still noticed some problems; like my windows media player turns into the blue screen of death when opened, delayed start-ups and such. I downloaded Ad-aware, and it came up with 9 redirected hostfile entries. Attempts to quarantine them through ad-aware have failed. I checked Online armor to find that my firewall had been turned off and a ridiculous list of 200 or more sites were being "Trusted". If it not were Spy Sweeper, I would probably be unable to run my pc from all the pop-ups. Spy Sweeper didn't tell me that they were there, but at least that shield is blocking them for now. Something is also messing with my uninstallers. I.e. I tried uninstalling Online Armor to reinstall and reset the settings, but no luck. The uninstaller window won't even come up. Firefox is being affected, too. When I am browsing, it will try to close everything. Windows Explorer is freezing more often. I downloaded GMEr and tried to run it three times, but it froze each time. I started my pc today (11-11) to find that I could not access the internet, even though it said networks were available. Someone has hacked my Online Armor. In order for me to access the internet, Online Armor wanted me to allow another computer to link with mine. I said block. Luckily I created a restore point a month ago and restored the system. I ran Kaspersky Scanner and found Trojan-Downloader.WMA.GetCodec.n and Trojan-Downloader.WMA.GetCodec.f.
Please help.
