You're not downloading anything when you're web surfing or viewing emails. As far as the other two, it depends on the size of the file and that's going to vary. If you're downloading a feature film, that will be a very large file. So there's not going to be a difinitive answer.

And peter, I assume from the phrasing of your question that you do recognize that you are in fact downloading when you websurf and email - everything that passes from the internet to reach your computer counts as download volume. Your ISP may provide some unmetered content, which they don't count against your monthly total, but that is dependent on the individual ISP.
