My computer is showing only a white screen. I can hear windows opening (the music). But, the screen stays completely white. I have tried F8 for safe mode and still only see the white screen. I am thinking I have a trojan or virus. But, I cannot figure out how to load/install antivirus or even scan since I can't see my screen......HELP! Any ideas? (P.S. I am on a friends computur now)

I do not think this is malware . Try clicking your Monitors Menu button. Then move the selector or up arrow. You may need to move this from analog to digital signal. Keep tapping the arrow slowly and watch the screen as when it hits the correct location the image may come back. You may need to find your manual. This is only a suggestion as it may also be a more serious mechanical issue.

Can you try another Monitor on it?

When you reboot, when does the white screen occur? Will the BIOS screen show?
It's a longshot, but replace the motherboard battery
By the way, is this a laptop or a desktop?
