Hey so For past month I've had on going problems with the computer freezing/locking up on simple processes and then going blue screen and rebooting. On the reboot I get one of two errors, usually I get "disk boot error occured .. clntrl alt +del to restart". Now normally you'd figure its a harddrive failure so I replaced the hardrive and formatted the computer, it was good for about a week(limited compared to my normal usage maybe 3-4 hours a day on). but now im back to square one on a new harddrive and freshly formatted computer.

Also many times it takes several attempts to reboot the computer, or to the point of a coldboot, and on the first go around one of the cold boots threw out a reg key (specifically win32.exe)

I should also mention I get a fan fault error booting hit f2 etc, but even if the fan wasnt working or cooling properly the past week the computer hasnt had a chance to over heat.

Change the recovery settings and Disable Automatic Rebooting. Right-click on My Computer and select Properties > Advanced tab. Under "Startup and Recovery", click on the "Settings" button and go to "System failure". Make sure that "Write an event to the system log" is checked and that "Automatically restart" is unchecked. Click "OK" and reboot for the changes to take effect.

Next time your computer crashes copy down the entire error message (including all the numbers) and post it back here.
